Shimmering, golden rays, yellowing the ground.
It’s warmth tickling the sandy rocks, as more still
greet the sea.
Winter’s chill gone, though loved,
missed not at present,
As Mother Earth swings her hips, the cycles still come
and leave.
Exotic fowls dance to the familiar
rhythm of their world,
Floating along side the wispy clouds just as free.
Admiring all that is above and below
them,
with nature boasting of it’s talents, Said audience approves
and simply enjoys what has again come to be.
The hypnotic cadence of me saying your name rolls off my tongue
Like the musical staccato of rain drops falling onto lilac petals on
a spring morning.
The more times I speak this special word, J-e-s-s-i-c-a, (recipient name goes here) the deeper the essence of you leaves and imprint on my soul, a bond
unbreakable.
My fascination with all that is you is enduring because after all these years,
I still love you.
Ahhh, my spirit sings your name in a melody surpassing all love songs gone past.
May God forever bless the day I laid eyes on you, my queen.
My muse.
Like an exquisitely rare sonata, your beauty exudes from within and reflects the
good in my soul. You've anchored me since the beginning.
No matter the time or the hour, my flesh tingles while hairs stand on end in
anticipation of your touch.
Your love. Your energy. You give meaning and power to my life and my world.
Without you, there is no entire me.
We complete each other.
The everlasting twinkle in your eye is like a shooting star across the night sky,
illuminating my heart with a promise of yet even more love to come…
And after our 20 years (enter anniversary number here) together, my
devotion grows stronger--a passion like a flame that will never die.
After all these years, I still desire and want the very essence that is you.

Staring into my eyes, as if a goddess
were present in my shell,
Yet amazingly tolerant of my nervous hands
and the tremble of my voice.
He minds not the shyness of my heart,
but instead admires the pride of my gait.
The determination of my spirit intrigues
him more still…
The male in him swears to my unconscious beauty
and feminine assets, while craftily observing me
for hours without my knowledge.
“I just want to know and perceive all that is
you,”
he says. As if desperately wanting to taste the essence
that is me.
No real sense or understanding exists for the affixation made,
or the intense yet intangible affection that has crowned my
humble head.
A true passion, always sound and
unwavering.
A unique bond hidden from no one, fearing no one…
All that exemplifies a man’s love for his woman.
Our love began before we met,
when we were two wandering souls just searching.
Unbeknownst to us, God interfered
with a connection that stopped the hurting.
Now a bond unbreakable has formed,
A love so true has anchored,
And the rest is a dream in progress...
It's all about you, because today is YOUR day!
You're only a year older, but who's counting anyway?
And though I've treasured you all year, it's now time for you to see,
Just how special you've become and what you mean to me…

Life is unimaginable without your vibrant bursts of energy
and tiny, nimble fingers curiously seeking new
and exciting things to explore….
Nothing shall ever part me from you,
thus I will always adore you in good times and bad.
In addition, I vow to never lead you astray—
For God has asked me to cherish you,
my darling child. My baby.
His request of me is taken seriously,
as your fresh smell lingers in my nostrils and
the feel of your soft skin rests upon my finger tips….
You will never be without love-
You are mine forever and always.
It’s said that life is much too
short, but I
never realized what this really meant,
Until the day came when you were no longer here.
Who knows where the time went?
I took for granted our delightful
trips to the park,
our games of chess and splendid days down by the lake…
But now that you’re gone, my spirit mourns
and my heart feels as if it’s bound to break.
Not because you’re resting peacefully
with a deserving smile upon your cherub face,
I just sorely miss your joyful presence and
your twinkling eyes that will never be replaced.
Your memory lives in every fiber
of my being
and with every breath I’ve been allowed.
Rest assured you will be surely missed,
even as you take your final bow.
I’m sure you’ll receive your well
earned wings,
for the love you housed in abundance and plenty!
And for the heart you gave unconditionally,
that provided much shelter for yet so many.
